Cimco was founded in 1977 and purchased by James Rotruck in 1983. Mr. Rotruck had a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with honors from West Virgina University and a MSEE in Power Systems from Akron University. His experience with transformers included design, development, and factory management. James Rotruck was deeply involved with the company from 1983 until 2008, when illness prevented him from being active as president. James Rotruck passed away in 2011 and is missed by both employees and customers.
Despite the death of its founder and long-time president, Cimco Electronics, Inc. is still committed to providing customers with first-class temperature control devices. Since 2008, Cimco has been under the management of Mr. Rotruck's daughter, Amie R. Rotruck. Ms. Rotruck has a BSEE with a concentration in electronics from the University of Pittsburgh. After working for various companies as a digital hardware designer, Ms. Rotruck began working for Cimco in 2000 as Manager of Engineering and Marketing. Ms. Rotruck plans to keep Cimco Electronics, Inc. operational and hopes to continue providing the same quality instruments as well as developing new products.
With a staff of highly dedicated people, Cimco consistently produces a high quality product and support to customers in the transformer business. Each instrument is tested and certified before shipment.
In the tradition established by Mr. Rotruck, Cimco remains committed to providing all customers, both new and old, with quality products and excellent customer service.
